Theological Department

The Theological Department of the Federation of Pentecostal Churches (FPC) is responsible for preserving doctrinal integrity, promoting sound biblical scholarship, and advancing structured theological education across the Federation. To strengthen the spiritual and theological foundation of pastors, leaders, and members through systematic biblical training and academic excellence rooted in Pentecostal doctrine.

Expanded Responsibilities

1. Doctrinal Oversight
   • Safeguard the Federation’s Statement of Faith.
   • Review and approve theological materials and teaching content.
   • Provide official clarification on doctrinal matters when necessary.
2. Theological Education Programs

   The Department conducts structured Bible College programs, including:

   • Bachelor Degree Programs in Theology / Ministry
   • Master Degree Programs in Theology / Divinity
   • Diploma Courses in Biblical and Ministerial Studies
   • Certificate Courses in foundational theology and ministry training

   All programs are designed to equip ministers with biblical depth, ministerial competence, and spiritual maturity.

3. Zonal Evening Colleges (Planned Initiative)

   The Department is planning to establish Evening Bible Colleges at Zonal Levels with the following objectives:

   • Upgrade pastors’ theological knowledge.
   • Strengthen spiritual formation and ministerial effectiveness.
   • Provide accessible education for pastors unable to attend full-time programs.
   • Encourage continuous learning and leadership development.
4. Ministerial Development
   • Organize seminars, conferences, and leadership workshops.
   • Offer continuing education programs for ordained ministers.
   • Promote disciplined biblical study and spiritual growth.
