Departments

Departmental Structure

The Federation of Pentecostal Churches functions through fifteen (15) departments, established to facilitate focused ministry development, coordinated administration, and effective service across all levels of the organization.

Each department operates under a defined leadership structure to ensure accountability, spiritual guidance, and organized implementation of its objectives.

Departmental Leadership Composition

Every department consists of the following office bearers:

President

Provides overall leadership, vision, and direction for the department. Oversees planning and execution of departmental programs in alignment with the Federation’s mission.

Vice President

Assists the President in leadership responsibilities and assumes duties in the absence of the President.

Secretary

Manages administrative coordination, official correspondence, documentation, and implementation of departmental decisions.

Joint Secretary

Supports the Secretary in administrative functions and carries out delegated responsibilities as required.

Treasurer

Oversees departmental financial matters, ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of resources.

Three Committee Members

Assist in planning, governance, and implementation of departmental initiatives and activities.

Selection and Reporting Structure

  • Each zone shall nominate one representative for each District Department. The nominated representatives shall be forwarded to the District Committee for review. The District Administrative Committee shall thereafter appoint and assign the appropriate leadership positions within the respective departments at the district level. Each department functions within its designated area of responsibility.
  • Departments operate under structured supervision and submit reports to the District Administrative Committee, ensuring accountability and centralized coordination.

Purpose of the Departmental System

The establishment of seventeen departments enables the Federation to:

  • Arrange and conduct district-level programs under their own responsibility within their respective areas of functioning
  • Promote specialized ministry development
  • Encourage structured leadership participation
  • Ensure systematic administration and accountability
  • Strengthen coordination between zonal and district leadership within their respective areas of functioning.

This departmental framework ensures orderly governance, clarity of responsibility, and effective ministry operations throughout the Federation
