During the period when Pentecostal ministries were growing in Kanyakumari district, in the year 1984, according to the vision given by the Lord to Pr. Y.S. Devasundaram, other servants of God Pastor N Thomas, Pastor Isaac Christian gathered together in prayer and formed a fellowship called "Deva Uzhiayar Aikkiyam Njt Copah; If;fpak; " (Pastors Fellowship) to help unite Pentecostal ministers in prayer and fellowship. The Lord, who initiated this fellowship, has graciously continued it to this day.

The transition from the Pastors Fellowship to the Federation of Pentecostal Churches (FPC) in 3.10.2006 marked a key moment of structural and organizational development for the group. With this shift, the leadership also expanded, with several key individuals taking on roles that would help steer the vision and growth of the FPC.
