The Public Relations Commission of the FPC is responsible for managing and maintaining the positive image, reputation, and communication of the Federation. It serves as a vital link between the Federation and its stakeholders, including government authorities, media representatives, partner organizations, community leaders, and the general public.

Purpose and Role

The Commission ensures that the mission, vision, and activities of the Federation are communicated clearly, professionally, and effectively. It strengthens public trust, promotes transparency, and fosters healthy relationships with all external and internal stakeholders.

Key Functions and Responsibilities

  1. Communication Management
    • Prepare and release official announcements, press statements, and public communications.
    • Handle both internal and external communications of the Federation.
    • Maintain positive relationships with government authorities, community leaders, and partner organizations.
    • Represent the Federation in official meetings and public forums when assigned.
  2. Media Relations
    • Build and maintain professional relationships with journalists and media outlets.
    • Organize press conferences, media briefings, and interviews.
    • Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information to the public.
    • Ensure proper publicity and media coverage of major Federation activities.
  3. Reputation Management
    • Protect and promote the Federation’s public image.
    • Address misunderstandings, misinformation, or negative publicity in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Crisis Communication
    • Respond promptly and responsibly during emergencies or public controversies.
    • Provide clear and unified communication during sensitive situations.
  5. Community Engagement
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with the community and stakeholders.
    • Promote the Federation’s mission, vision, and activities in a professional and consistent manner.

Reporting

The Public Relations Commission shall submit regular activity reports to the District Administrative Committee.
